The worst conference out of the big 6 is probably the acc. sun belt worst overall imo.

Oh, and to the above ... washington and washington st. suck, yes, but stanford and arizona are both on the rise. Besides usc, the pac 10 also has oregon, cal, arizona st., and oregon state. ucla will also be on the rise. Seems like a pretty good conference to me.

I couldn't agree more with the above. Instead of going to the best player in the country, it goes to the best player on the best team. I feel like the guys are picked to go to New York even before the season starts. i think that every team that was mentioned by the guy above have a chance to get back into the title contention back in the 90s oklahoma and usc had terrible years but yet here they are today with everyone thinking that they are the only people who can win it sure nebraska has more to compete with but they always have back when nebraska and oklahoma played every year and they were both in the top 5 almost all the time everyone has their down years they just need time to get the right people in place to win

lol at the above. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but Nebraska is never going to compete for the national title again. Texas and Oklahoma are always going to be good, and it looks like Texas Tech and Oklahoma State are here to stay. Nebraska just doesn't have the great high school football to get the top recruits. I'll agree that Alabama, Michigan, and Miami will be back though.
